How It Works

A defined, eight-step process from first enquiry through to a plan you can act on.

  1. Step 01

    Share Your Business Goals

You tell me what the business does, who it serves and what you want marketing to achieve. This can be a few paragraphs in the enquiry form or a short call — whichever is quicker for you.

What I need: a description of your services, your website and social links if you have them, and the outcome you are hoping for.

  2. Step 02

    Define the Project Scope

We agree the package, the deliverables, the revision allowance and the delivery schedule, and I write it down. Nothing begins until that brief is confirmed by you.

What you get: a written brief covering business, audience, objectives, channels, deliverables, revisions and schedule.

  3. Step 03

    Review Current Marketing

I look at what you are already running: content, channels, messaging and the route a customer takes from first contact to enquiry.

What I look for: gaps, duplication, unclear messaging and activity that is not connected to an objective.

  4. Step 04

    Research the Audience

Your intended customer groups are described in useful detail — needs, motivations, likely objections and the content they pay attention to.

Note: audience research uses your own knowledge, your market and publicly available information.

  5. Step 05

    Develop Recommendations

Positioning, messaging, channel priorities, content direction and campaign structure are drafted for your capacity, not for an agency’s.

Scaled to: the hours and budget you actually have available each week.

  6. Step 06

    Deliver the Marketing Plan

You receive the documents digitally, organised and ready to use. Consultations, where included, are held remotely.

Format: written documents and planning materials. Nothing is posted physically.

  7. Step 07

    Review and Refine

You send one consolidated set of comments and I apply them within the agreed revision allowance.

Boundary: revisions refine the agreed scope; new requirements are quoted as new work.

  8. Step 08

    Implement the Next Steps

You finish with a defined order of work you can start immediately, whether you do it yourself or hand it to someone else.

Ongoing support is optional and agreed separately.
